What do I need to be able to race at Pleasure Riders M/C?
For more information, please visit www.amadistrict17.com for the D-17 rulebook and also a link to the AMA rulebook. All of our events are AMA sanctioned and require membership in the AMA and also in D-17 (IL) or D-15 (IN) depending on where you reside.
If I am a minor (under 18 years old), what do I need to be able to participate in an AMA sanctioned event?
Any rider under the age of 18 is required to have a parent or legal guardian sign a Minor Release Form at the sign up. If a parent or legal guardian is not going to be at the event with you, a notarized statement signed by your parent or guardian authorizing another adult to be your guardian for the event must be presented at sign up. The parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult must remain with you at the event. That authorization is good only for that event and will be retained by the club. Is Pleasure Riders M/C open for riding?
Only for members of Pleasure Riders M/C in good standing.
How much is a membership at Pleasure Riders M/C?
For 2006, all new annual memberships are $250.00. Returning members from 2005 that met the minimum work requirement are eligible for a $100.00 annual membership in 2006. New members in 2006 that meet the minimum work requirement during 2006 will be eligible for a $100.00 annual membership in 2007.
How much work is required for a working membership?
We require 20 hours minimum. Can be a combination of working at events and scheduled workdays. For those with varying schedules, approval can be given to do work outside of scheduled workdays and events.
How do I become a member of Pleasure Riders M/C?
Prospective members must attend a meeting for approval. Meetings are the 1st Wednesday of every month at 6:30PM IL time at the clubhouse located at the Pleasure Riders M/C clubgrounds. Call 217-247-2216 for more information.
As a member, can I ride at Pleasure Riders M/C anytime I want?
All members are issued a key to the gate. Members must abide by all club rules and stay within the clubground boundaries.
