Pleasure Riders MC is proud to bring AMA Motocross to the Georgetown Fair at the Grandstand on August 11th at 7:00PM. This AMA sanctioned race will feature off-road motorcycles and ATVs competing on a technical motocross track in various classes for trophies and cash prizes.
Spectator tickets are available at the Grandstand the day of the event. Races begin at 7PM.

* Not all AMA D-17 classes will be run as this is a limited class event, only the classes listed above will be run.
DIRECTIONS TO THE GEORGETOWN FAIR:
The Georgetown Fairgrounds are very easy to find once you arrive in Georgetown and signs will be posted. The fairgrounds are located less than a mile East off of Georgetown Rd (Route 1) on Mill Street.
From Illinois:
Interstate 74 to Exit 215A (Rt. 1 / Georgetown Rd)
South on Illinois Route 1 to Georgetown, IL
Once arrive in Georgetown, take a left (East) at 1st stoplight (Mill Street)
Fairgrounds will be on your left in less than one mile
Signs will be posted to help direct vehicles for parking
From Indiana:
Highway 63 to Cayuga, IN (Hwy 234)
Travel West on Highway 234 (turns into Mill Street) approximately 11 miles to Georgetown Fairgrounds
Look for signs - fairgrounds will be on your right

AMA Motocross at the Georgetown, IL Fair
Racer Information:
4 PM - Gates to the pits open Once at fairgrounds, indicate to parking personnel that you need directed to the pit area
4-5PM Sign-up Please come to sign-up even if you pre-registered. Sign-up will be located in the Pit area
6 PM Riders meeting and then Practice
7 PM Races begin
Registration fee is $25.00 per class ($20.00 if you pre-registered see website for pre-entry form).
Pit Fee: $10.00
2 Moto format cash payback for A classes is 125% payback (based on $25 entry and # of riders) by moto finish.
Youth classes payback 100% Trophy
Remainder of classes typically payback at least 50% trophy
Track will feature a rubber-band start, jumps, a double in front of the grandstands, and mostly flat corners. The track will cover an area roughly the size of a football field.
Race order will be determined based on # of riders in each class. A few of classes may be combined and run together (but will be scored separately for trophies / cash awards). If a class is to large to run all at once, it will be split up into 2 or more classes (Ex. 125C could be split up into 2 classes 125C and 125C1 and scored individually for awards and points).

Races start at 7PM and should be done by 10PM.
First-time racers:
If you are a first time racer, please check out the FAQs on our website (www.pleasureriders.net) to get information on what you need to be able to race at an AMA sanctioned event. There are several links on this FAQs page that will also give you more information on AMA, district memberships and what additional requirements must be met for minors (under 18 years old).
For those individuals that have pre-registered for this event:
Please come to sign-up and indicate to the sign-up personnel that you have pre-registered. They will need to verify that the information they have is correct and have you sign the appropriate releases. Please note you are not in the event until you have checked in with sign-up to complete the process and sign all appropriate documents.
Only those individuals that have pre-registered will be in the drawing for door prizes provided courtesy of Kawtown Kawasaki. This drawing will occur at the Riders meeting before Practice.
